Qualifications & Skills:

Current Minnesota teaching credential with

Special Education:

Developmental Cognitive Disabilities endorsement required Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in a center-based classroom environment Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs), instructional adaptation, and behavioral support strategies Ability to foster an inclusive and positive classroom culture Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, students, and families Organized, responsive, and committed to student-centered learning

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality instruction in a center-based special education classroom Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to student needs and strengths Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, paraprofessionals, and administration Provide differentiated instruction and behavioral supports Communicate effectively with families to foster strong educational partnerships Maintain thorough and accurate student records and documentation
