Essential Qualifications:
Valid Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License (Tier 1 or Tier 2 accepted; preference for Tier 3 or Tier 4) Licensure in Emotional or Behavioral Disorders (EBD) Previous experience supporting elementary students in a special education setting Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom for diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and support to a caseload of approximately 11 elementary students (enrollment may fluctuate slightly) Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs Monitor student progress, modifying interventions as necessary for academic and behavioral growth Communicate regularly with families and school personnel to ensure consistent support and progress Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines Adapt instructional techniques and classroom management strategies as needed This position is perfect for passionate educators skilled in guiding students through emotional and behavioral challenges.
