Here's what you'll bring to the table: Valid certification in Special Education Proven experience or strong engagement with students with diverse learning needs Ability to develop, adapt, and deliver effective lesson plans weekly Expertise in creating, implementing, and tracking Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Team-player mentality with strong communication and organizational skills Comfort with data collection and progress monitoring three times annually Readiness to participate actively in Professional Learning Community (PLC) meetings and ongoing district/professional development Your primary daily responsibilities will include: Providing instruction to a caseload of up to 12-24 students, divided between morning and afternoon sessions Integrating IEP goals into classroom activities every day Following a prescribed curriculum while adapting to individual student needs Creating and implementing IEPs, scheduling and leading meetings with the IEP team Thoroughly reporting on both curriculum and goal progress three times each year Participating in PLC and professional development sessions Other duties as assigned by the program You'll work a consistent schedule, 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch, from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027 (with some flexibility for snow days).
