Primary Responsibilities Provide specialized academic instruction aligned with student IEP goals. Develop and implement accommodations, modifications, and individualized learning plans. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of performance and growth. Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and administrators. Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and parent conferences. Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development. Implement evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies. Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education guidelines. Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field. Active Missouri Special Education certification or ability to obtain licensure. Knowledge of IEP development and implementation. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs. Preferred Qualifications Previous school-based special education experience. Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school populations. Familiarity with inclusion settings and differentiated instruction.
