Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching certification or eligibility Experience supporting elementary and/or middle school-aged students in inclusive or specialized settings Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring Confidence assisting with toileting needs; professional approach and discretion required Comfortable working within a team, including teaching assistants and behavior technicians Strong communication and collaboration skills

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized instruction and implement IEPs for students in an elementary structured support setting (6-student caseload) and/or co-taught middle school classroom (11-student caseload) Support students with mild behavioral needs, adhering to positive behavior interventionseven though significant behavioral challenges are not present Provide toileting assistance for students as needed; feeding support limited to a single student with a feeding tube in the middle school classroom Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, behavior technicians, and fellow educators to foster a supportive and empathetic learning environment Maintain data on student progress and participate in meetings with educational teams and families This contract role offers a unique chance to create meaningful impact, working alongside caring professionals dedicated to student growth.
