Job Description
Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working with middle school students preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes, accommodations, and modifications Effective classroom management skills Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families Exceptional communication and organizational skills Commitment to providing high-quality instruction and individualized supportRole Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and small-group instruction to students based on IEP goals Develop and adapt lesson plans to accommodate each students unique needs and abilities Track, document, and report student progress while meeting compliance requirements Engage parents, guardians, and interdisciplinary team members in the educational process Create an inclusive, supportive classroom culture where all students can thrive Attend required meetings, trainings, and professional development as needed This position is a great fit for an educator who is passionate about empowering students with diverse learning needs.
