9688966-68347 Job Description Make an impactful difference working as a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing supporting young learners. This contract opportunity, located near the Eagle and Lincoln area, focuses on providing essential services to early childhood students from birth through five years old. The position offers both full-time and part-time schedules, with part-time roles ranging between 15-25 hours weekly. Youll work exclusively onsite, building relationships and making direct connections with students and their support networks.
Qualifications & Experience:
Holds or is eligible for appropriate state certification for Deaf/Hard of Hearing teaching Prior experience with early childhood caseloads, preferably ages birth-5 Strong communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills Ability to create and adapt Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Familiarity with a range of assistive technologies and instructional strategies Flexibility to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and with families
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Assess student needs and track developmental progress Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual learning styles Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and caregivers Provide resources and support for families to encourage carryover at home Stay up to date with best practices, state requirements, and educational innovations for DHH students Imagine shaping a childs earliest experiences with language and communication, and watching your impact grow year after year.
