We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers in the Claremont, NH area. There are multiple positions opened across elementary-HS ages and various classroom/disability types for the 2026/2027 school year.Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IEPs. Provide instruction tailored to diverse learning needs. Assess student progress and adjust strategies as needed. Collaborate with staff and families to support student success.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's preferred). Valid NH Special Education teaching certification. Previous teaching experience preferred.Benefits:

A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.
