We are seeking two full-time Special Education Teachers to work with elementary and middle school students throughout the upcoming academic year and into the extended school year (FSY) program. Desired Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility) Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and monitoring Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities Flexibility in adapting teaching methods to meet diverse student needs Passion for supporting students with a variety of learning challenges
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct instruction and support to students as outlined in IEPs Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families Maintain detailed documentation on student progress and communicate updates Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions Support students during the Extended School Year (FSY) as needed Imagine making a daily difference in students' lives while working in a friendly, supportive environment.
