This contract opportunity, conveniently located near Derry, NH, runs from August 2026 through June 2027 and focuses on guiding early childhood students toward academic and personal achievement. As part of a dedicated team, you'll help shape positive learning experiences for elementary-aged children within a supportive environment. Ideal candidates bring a passion for fostering growth, patience, and an ability to tailor strategies to a variety of learning styles. You'll work with manageable caseloads, allowing a deep, individualized impact while collaborating with fellow educators and school staff.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Possess a valid Special Education (SPED) Certification (dual certification no longer required) Experience or genuine interest in early childhood or elementary special education Strong communication and classroom management skills Flexible and adaptable approach to meet diverse student needs Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's abilities and growth areas Collaborate with related service providers, families, and support staff to maximize student success Utilize evidence-based strategies, adapted materials, and assistive technologies Track student progress, documenting observations and adjusting approaches as needed Support students' social-emotional development in a nurturing, positive environment
