Special Education Teacher - Derry, New Hampshire

Job Description

Shape the future by supporting young learners in special education! We're looking for a dedicated, compassionate educator to work with both 2nd and 5th grade students in a contract role from August 2026 through June 2027. This position is conveniently located near Derry, NH, with a full-time weekday schedule of 32-37.5 hours per week. Youll be serving students across two school locations, carrying teaching and case management responsibilities for a caseload of approximately 15 children.
Key Requirements:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification Previous experience supporting elementary-age students, particularly in grades 2 and/or 5, is highly preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Effective communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families Ability to balance teaching and case management duties across multiple sites Organizational skills to oversee caseloads and maintain accurate documentation
Core Duties:
