An exciting full-time contract opportunity is available for a skilled Special Education Teacher to serve as a SpEd Case Manager in a middle school setting. The assignment begins as soon as possible and is tentatively scheduled through June 17th, 2027. This role will primarily serve 8th-grade students, within a supportive team environment, fostering an inclusive and engaging educational experience.

Key Qualifications:

Current New Hampshire Special Education License with 1900 Teaching Endorsement preferred, or eligibility for a letter of eligibility via appropriate class credits Experience working with middle school students (grades 4-8), particularly in a special education capacity Strong understanding of diverse learning disabilities, with particular focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD Ability to coordinate with paraprofessional staff and collaborate effectively with other case managers Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of approximately 20-30 students in the 8th grade, adapting instruction and supports to meet individual learning needs Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with students, families, specialists, and school staff Conduct assessments, oversee progress monitoring, and maintain compliance with all relevant legal and procedural requirements Facilitate meetings and maintain open, constructive communication with parents and guardians Serve as a liaison between the classroom, families, and support services, ensuring each student receives appropriate paraprofessional assistance if needed This contract role provides the chance to make a profound impact on students educational journeys, within a collaborative and supportive school culture.
