Located near vibrant West Orange, NJ, this opportunity is perfect for compassionate individuals eager to encourage learning and growth in young children. Three full-time roles are available, with placements in either self-contained or general education classroom settings.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting teachers with classroom instruction and activities Providing individualized or small group support to students Encouraging student engagement and fostering a positive learning environment Supporting students with special needs as assigned Monitoring students progress and assisting with classroom management Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and organized classroom space Desired experience and qualifications: Previous experience working with children in educational or childcare settings Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and school staff Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills Adaptable and quick to respond to student needs Comfortable working in a self-contained or general education environment High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or paraprofessional certification a plus Youll benefit from a welcoming, supportive team environment and the rewarding experience of making a meaningful impact on students lives.
