Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field Valid state teaching certification/licensure appropriate for Special Education Experience with elementary students preferred Ability to adapt curriculum for diverse learning needs Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Previous experience as an Inclusion Teacher or in an Autism Classroom is a plus
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group instruction to elementary students with special needs Develop and implement IEPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Modify curriculum to ensure accessibility and success for every learner Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment Engage with parents, support staff, and administrators to optimize student outcomes Maintain accurate records and report on student progress
