Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position supporting middle school students in special education. This full-time opportunity runs Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM, beginning August 10, 2026. You'll work with a diverse caseload of students in grades 6-8, addressing needs that range from mild to severe, and providing critical guidance and instruction to empower every learner's progress. Your ability to create tailored learning experiences will have a direct impact on students' daily successes. Collaboration with other educators, support staff, and families will help ensure a cohesive, nurturing environment for all. Qualifications:
Valid credentials and experience as a Special Education Teacher Experience working with middle school-aged students, particularly in a resource or self-contained setting Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Medicaid NCI # required Ability to support students with a range of exceptionalities, from mild to severe Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families Must successfully pass a background check
Responsibilities:
