Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Engage with an inspiring community of learners as a Special Education Teacher supporting middle school students (grades 6-8) with mild to severe needs. This full-time contract role offers consistent hours, Monday through Friday from 7:45AM to 2:45PM, allowing you to make a lasting impact while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. In this position, you will deliver individualized instruction and classroom management, shaping education plans tailored to the unique strengths and challenges of each student. Your commitment will ensure a supportive, inclusive environment where every child's growth and success are celebrated.
Qualifications and Prerequisites:
Current credentials as a Special Education Teacher Experience or strong interest in working with middle school learners (grades 6-8) Proficiency in supporting students with a range of mild to severe needs Must hold a valid Medicaid NCI # Successful completion of a background check is required Outstanding communication and teamwork skills
