Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher supporting young learners from PreK through 5th grade. Located near Magdalena, NM, this full-time position offers a stable schedule from Monday through Thursday, with assignments beginning as soon as possible and continuing until late May 2027. You'll be instrumental in shaping the educational journey of a caseload of 16 students, providing both inclusion and pull-out services to best meet each child's needs. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about individualized instruction and dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching certification Prior experience in elementary special education settings preferred Strong understanding of both inclusion and pull-out service models Ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for diverse learners Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families Organizational skills for maintaining records and meeting deadlines

Responsibilities:
