Elementary Special Education Teachers Position Overview:
A district in the Taos, NM area is seeking three Special Education Teachers to support both elementary and high school settings. These roles will provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs across multiple grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student IEPs Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and progress Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines Support student academic, behavioral, and social development
Requirements:
Active New Mexico Special Education teaching license Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Education or related field Demonstrated knowledge of subject/grade levels being taught Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff (verbal and written)
