Two passionate Special Education professionals are needed for contract positions serving elementary and middle school students in Las Vegas, working within a self-contained classroom setting. This assignment runs full-time from 7:30 AM3:30 PM, with positions open immediately and continuing through May 31, 2027. The campus is situated on a military base and recognized as the districts highest-needs site, providing vital services to a unique, inspiring student population.

Key Candidate Qualifications:

Valid Nevada Special Education Teaching License, required Experience working with students on the Autism spectrum strongly preferred Background supporting high-needs or diverse populations is advantageous Adaptability, strong collaboration skills, and commitment to individualized instruction Ability to foster a positive, structured classroom environment with empathy and professionalism

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized educational programs in a self-contained classroom Lead caseloads of up to 13 students, with 810 present in the classroom at any given time Collaborate closely with dedicated paraprofessionals and aides for each class Support students, including those with Autism and complex needs, in both academic and social growth Ensure inclusion by coordinating student participation in specials with accompanying aides Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and IEP compliance in accordance with district and state requirements This is a unique chance to impact students lives on a campus dedicated to serving military families and those with the highest needs.
