Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students (ages 12-21) with diverse needs and a passion for making a positive impact on their educational journey.

Duties:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide support and instruction in various subjects, including literacy, math, and social skills
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to create a supportive learning environment
• Utilize specialized techniques to address the unique learning styles of students with disabilities
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth

Skills:

• Experience working with students with special needs
• Proficiency in special education practices and techniques
• Familiarity with literacy education strategies
• Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Salary:
