Physical Therapist (PT) - Part-Time

Location:

Cedarhurst, NY

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide individualized therapy services to students with diverse physical, developmental, and mobility needs. The PT will help students improve mobility, coordination, strength, and functional independence.

Responsibilities

Conduct physical therapy evaluations and assessments.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Provide therapy aligned with student needs and IEP goals.

Support mobility, balance, coordination, strength, and functional skills.

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.

Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations as needed.

Qualifications

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree.

Valid New York State PT license.

Pediatric or school-based experience preferred.

Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
