Job Description The Wappingers Central School District is seeking candidates to fill a Behavior Intervention Specialist position for the 2026-27 school year with an effective start date on or about September 2, 2026. This is a full-time temporary non-tenure position. The WCSD offers competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, professional development, and mentor support. Job Qualifications Only those candidates holding valid NYSED certification in Special Education will be considered. Candidates holding current ABA, BCBA and/or RBT certification are preferred. Application Procedure Candidates must be prepared to provide additional documents to complete a candidate folder, including three letters of recommendation bearing the writers' signatures, dated within the last 18 months, valid teaching certificate, and transcripts.
