Job Qualifications AM Bus Duty Supervisor Staff Duty Position — Stipend Position Summary The AM Bus Duty Supervisor oversees student safety and orderly conduct during morning bus arrival, ensuring students exit buses safely and transition to the building in an orderly manner. This position supports a safe and supervised start to the school day. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Report to the assigned bus arrival area prior to the first bus arrival each morning. Supervise students as they exit buses, ensuring safe and orderly movement toward the building entrance. Monitor student behavior during arrival, addressing minor concerns directly and reporting significant issues to building administration. Assist students who require additional support during arrival, including younger students and those with individual needs. Communicate promptly with building administration regarding bus delays, incidents, or safety concerns. Maintain a visible, attentive presence throughout the duration of the duty period. Qualifications Current district employee in good standing. Reliable, punctual attendance and ability to be on duty before the start of the instructional day. Strong supervisory and communication skills, with sound judgment in managing student behavior. Duty Schedule Duty is performed each school day prior to the start of instruction, for the duration of morning bus arrival, as scheduled by building administration. Reports To Building Principal / Assistant Principal Terms of Employment This is a stipend duty position, in addition to regular assigned duties, for the school year as outlined in the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
