Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH) or eligibility to obtain Previous experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing preferred Strong understanding of assistive technology and instructional strategies for diverse learners Ability to collaborate with other educators, families, and related service providers Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in accordance with IEP goals Develop, implement, and adapt lesson plans for individual student needs Serve as a resource for school staff and families regarding hearing loss and related accommodations Collaborate with general education teachers to promote inclusive practices and accessibility Monitor student progress and participate in IEP meetings Maintain accurate and timely documentation
