Special Education Teacher in New York, NY

Job Description

Make an impact in the lives of elementary students as a Special Education Teacher near New York, NY. This contract opportunity spans the 2026/2027 school year, offering the chance to nurture young learners in a dynamic environment. You'll work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:15 am to 4:15 pm, supporting students with diverse learning needs and collaborating with a dedicated educational team. Requirements:
Active New York State Special Education Teacher license Certification to teach grades 1-6 Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to design, implement, and monitor IEPs Commitment to positive student outcomes and inclusion
Key Responsibilities:
