Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings, including home care, assisted living, and group homes. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide patient care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and autism. Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professional. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and ensuring hygiene standards are met. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans tailored to individual needs. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary. Uphold HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality at all times. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving roles such as home health aide, nursing assistant, or direct support professional is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus. Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities in various settings (nursing homes, hospice care, memory care) is highly desirable. Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and the ability to recognize changes in behavior or health status. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
