This full-time contract position offers an engaging opportunity for a dedicated Special Education Teacher. Youll be instrumental in tailoring lesson plans, implementing individualized education programs, and fostering a supportive learning atmosphere for each students academic and personal growth.

Key Qualifications:

Valid teaching certification with a specialization in Special Education Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly grades 3-5 Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage diverse learning needs with patience and creativity Familiarity with inclusive classroom practices

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and execute individualized lesson plans based on student abilities and goals Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure students receive the support they need Monitor student progress, update IEPs, and participate in meetings as required Create a positive classroom environment encouraging student participation and confidence Adapt instructional methods to accommodate a variety of learning styles Maintain accurate records and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offering the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a lasting difference in the lives of your students.
