This full-time contract opportunity focuses on supporting high school and upper elementary students, specifically those in 5th and 6th grades, and offers the rewarding challenge of making a daily impact. The district is seeking at least one, possibly two, skilled Special Education teachers who can foster inclusive classrooms and help all students develop to their fullest potential.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active and valid Ohio teaching license for Special Education Experience or strong interest in working with high school or upper elementary (5th/6th grade) students Skill in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) Solid understanding of state and federal requirements related to special education Ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Role Responsibilities:

Design and adapt lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning needs Provide direct instruction and support tailored to each student's IEP Monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and families to support student success Maintain compliance with documentation and reporting Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
