Key Qualifications:

Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher Experience working with students in individualized settings Familiarity with current instructional strategies for students with special needs Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with school staff, parents, and support personnel Comfortable with technology for virtual instruction (if selecting virtual option) Adaptable to either remote or in-person teaching environments

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and manage individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal regulations Deliver instruction tailored to each student's unique abilities and learning goals, whether virtually or onsite Utilize data-driven assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports social-emotional and academic growth Collaborate with related service providers and general education teachers Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality requirements
