Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and passionate PreK Lead Teacher to inspire and guide our preschoolers through their foundational learning experiences. In this vital role, you will create engaging lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and build meaningful relationships with children and their families. Responsibilities Develop and implement creative curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional development aligned with early childhood standards Manage daily classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for preschool-aged children Utilize effective behavior management strategies to foster positive behavior and social skills among students Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns in a clear and compassionate manner Incorporate child development best practices, including special education techniques and early intervention strategies when needed Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and incidents Lead classroom routines such as circle time, story reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and physical education activities Experience Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting is essential Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention methods Experience teaching literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social-emotional skills to preschoolers Familiarity with special education practices and working with children requiring additional support is preferred Strong communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration A dregree in Early Childhood Education or a related field a must.

Pay:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
