Job Summary We are seeking a Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in an educational environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional classroom management skills, a deep understanding of child development, and a commitment to fostering inclusive learning experiences. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in designing engaging curricula, supporting students with diverse needs and collaborating closely with families and fellow educators to promote student success. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating educational technology and instructional modifications to meet individual student needs. Manage classroom behavior effectively Support students' literacy, math, communication skills, and social-emotional development through targeted instruction. Conduct ongoing assessments using standardized testing and formative evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians through regular updates, conferences, and documentation related to student progress, IEPs, and behavioral health. Lead classroom activities that foster creativity, curiosity, and independence while ensuring safety protocols are followed in accordance with early childhood education standards. Qualifications Experience working with children in early childhood or elementary school settings, including preschool or private school environments. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and the integration of educational technology tools. Excellent communication skills for effective parent-teacher collaboration and team coordination among multidisciplinary professionals. Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues and support a positive classroom environment through classroom management expertise. Certification or licensure in early childhood education or special education is preferred; however, relevant experience is highly valued. Pay:
$12.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
