Qualifications:
Current certification/licensure as a Special Education Teacher (state of Oregon). Experience with case management for special education students preferred. Strong knowledge of IEP processes, compliance, and scheduling. Effective communication and organizational skills. Comfortable working virtually and using remote technology platforms.
Responsibilities:
Serve as case manager for a caseload of approximately 35 students. Develop, monitor, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Schedule and prepare for IEP meetings, ensuring timely completion of paperwork. Track and stay compliant with all IEP, reevaluation, and other mandated timelines. Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and related service professionals. Provide support, guidance, and instruction to help students meet their IEP goals.
