Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters preferred) Valid state teaching certification in Special Education Experience designing and implementing IEPs for students with diverse needs Strong skills in adapting curriculum and instructional strategies Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, aides, and families A creative, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting student growth

Key Responsibilities:

Develop individualized education plans tailored to each students needs Deliver engaging instruction, using evidence-based methods and accommodations Assess student progress and maintain accurate, confidential records Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure comprehensive care Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and resources Foster a positive, respectful classroom climate for all learners
