3007319094-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Giant Eagle is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our retail and fuel locations. In this role, you'll perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and fixtures to keep our stores safe, clean, and guest-ready. Duties include basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC support, carpentry, and troubleshooting, coordinating with vendors, and responding to work orders and emergencies. You'll partner closely with store leadership, follow safety procedures, maintain detailed logs, and support our people-first, community-focused culture across multiple locations as needed. Responsibilities Perform routine and preventative maintenance on store and fuel station facilities Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry issues Respond to maintenance work orders and emergency calls in a timely manner Inspect building systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safe operation Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and documentation Follow all safety, OSHA, and company compliance standards Support multiple store locations as needed, including occasional off-hours work Required Skills Preventative maintenance Basic electrical repair Basic plumbing repair HVAC support and troubleshooting Carpentry and fixture repair Building systems troubleshooting Use of hand and power tools Reading maintenance manuals and work orders CMMS or maintenance ticketing systems Safety and OSHA compliance
