Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students' academic, social, and emotional growth. This is a great opportunity for an educator who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and helping students reach their full potential. What You'll Do Create a positive, engaging classroom where students feel supported and motivated to learn. Plan and deliver high-quality daily lessons aligned with school curriculum and standards. Use creative, hands-on activities to make learning meaningful and engaging. Track student progress and provide clear, supportive feedback. Build strong relationships with students and understand their individual needs and strengths. Communicate regularly with families about student progress and achievements. Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and other professionals to support student success. Develop and implement SMART goals for IEPs and 504 plans . Maintain a welcoming classroom environment that celebrates student learning and achievement. Schedule Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-3:30/4:00 PM Requirements Bachelor's degree required. PA Special Education teaching certification required. Must be eligible to work full-time in the United States. Why Work With Us?
