Qualifications & Experience:
Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) Experience working with school-aged students who have visual impairments Familiarity with itinerant teaching models and flexibility to travel within designated areas Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt and implement instructional strategies for various grade levels Commitment to inclusive educationResponsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments across multiple schools Collaborate with general and special education teachers, related service providers, and families Assess students needs and contribute to IEP development and progress monitoring Support the adaptation of classroom materials and use of adaptive technology Travel daily between school sites within the county, maintaining detailed records of services providedPerks & Benefits:
