Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience or practicum in a K-12 special education setting Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies for students with varying needs Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with staff and families Understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven instructionKey Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with special needs, following IEP guidelines Develop tailored lesson plans and classroom activities to accommodate different learning styles and abilities Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to foster student success Collect data on student progress, modify interventions as needed, and maintain accurate records Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing district initiatives As a valued professional in this setting, you will have the opportunity to contribute to an inclusive and supportive school culture.
