9683305-78148 Job Description A contract position is available for a Visually Impaired Teacher specializing in telehealth services to support students with diverse needs in an educational setting. This role focuses on delivering specialized instruction and resources to visually impaired students, utilizing telehealth technology to enhance learning and accessibility.

Responsibilities include:

Providing individualized instruction and support tailored to the unique needs of students with visual impairments. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement educational plans. Utilizing telehealth platforms to conduct assessments, deliver lessons, and monitor student progress. Maintaining accurate records and documentation, including compliance with CSA requirements. Adapting materials and instructional methods to accommodate various visual impairments. Communicating effectively with students, families, and educational staff to foster an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications and desired experience:

Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired. Experience in delivering services through telehealth platforms. Skilled in assessing and addressing multiple student needs within the visually impaired population. Strong understanding of specialized educational strategies and adaptations for visual impairments. Effective communication and organizational skills. Current CSA (Child Study Authorization) on file or ability to obtain promptly.
