Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching credential Experience working with middle school learners in a resource room setting preferred Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Skills in differentiated instruction tailored to individual student needs Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues Commitment to creating inclusive, supportive classroom environments

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction to students with varied learning needs Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating with parents, team members, and related service providers Adapt lessons and materials to ensure accessibility and student success Track and report on student progress, using data to inform your teaching Advocate for student needs within the school community Foster a safe, positive classroom culture that promotes confidence and growth This role is ideal for compassionate educators who are ready to make a measurable impact while enjoying the supportive framework of a resource classroom.
