r41778-29223 Job Description Special Education Teacher Behavior Support Program We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join a Behavior Support Program . This full-time opportunity supports students ages 1521 in a structured and collaborative school environment.

May 2027 or with notice of contract completion

Caseload:

Approximately 1518 students

Student Ages:

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support to students in the Behavior Support Program Develop and implement individualized educational programs and instructional strategies Monitor student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional progress Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families Serve as the Special Education Case Manager for assigned students Develop, maintain, and monitor IEPs and ensure compliance with special education requirements Create a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment Support students in developing academic, behavioral, and life skills

Qualifications:

Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Multi-categorical or Emotional Disabilities (ED) Special education teaching experience preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff Commitment to supporting students with diverse academic and behavioral needs
