This full-time, full school-year role takes place on-site, offering a chance to make a positive, lasting impact in a dynamic educational environment near Lake City, SC. As a Special Education Teacher, youll work directly with students in need of tailored instruction. At the high school level, responsibilities include leading a self-contained, multi-categorical classroom of up to 15 students and ensuring that each receives appropriate support to succeed academically and socially. At the middle school level, youll oversee a resource classroom with up to 33 students, providing the interventions necessary to foster growth and self-confidence.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid multi-categorical or Learning Disabilities (LD) teaching certification Experience working with diverse learners, ideally in self-contained and resource settings Strong classroom management and individualized instruction planning abilities Commitment to fostering inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environments Excellent collaboration and communication skills with colleagues and families

Key Responsibilities:
