Located near Lake City, SC, these positions offer an engaging environment and the chance to make a meaningful difference right away. There are two exciting openings available: One Self-Contained/PRTF classroom for grades 6-12, serving a small group of 8-10 students in an in-person only setting. One Elementary Resource position for grades 3-5, working with 12-15 students. Both roles are set to begin immediately and are contracted through June 11, 2027, at 37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

Current certification as a Special Education Teacher.

Experience working in specialized settings:

Self-contained or psychiatric residential settings for grades 6-12. Elementary resource support for grades 3-5. A strong ability to collaborate with administrators, support staff, and parents to implement IEPs. Adaptability and creativity in customizing instruction to diverse learning needs. Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Your Impact:

Design and deliver individualized instruction and interventions tailored to student abilities and IEP requirements. Develop a supportive classroom community where each student feels safe and valued. Collect and analyze student progress data to shape instruction and intervention strategies. Work closely with paraprofessionals, specialists, and families to ensure comprehensive support.
