Qualifications & Desired Experience:

State certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification) Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field Experience designing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and behavior management strategies Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Previous experience in K-12 special education settings highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, review, and execute IEPs tailored to student strengths and needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including general education teachers and support staff Employ adaptive teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed to promote academic and social growth Maintain detailed and accurate student records in compliance with legal and district guidelines Engage actively with families to foster a supportive and communicative educational partnership
