Qualifications & Experience:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education (state-specific or eligible for reciprocity) Prior experience in a school-based Special Education setting preferred Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to quickly adapt to new surroundings and instructional teams
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver individualized education plans for students with diverse needs Collaborate with general education staff, administrators, and families Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Maintain accurate and confidential records
