Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification (appropriate for TX elementary grades 2-5) Previous experience as a Special Education case manager required Comfortable working with elementary students in Life-Skills classrooms Frontline experience for IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) SAMA (restraint certification) or willingness to become certified Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals

Responsibilities:

Lead Life-Skills instruction for 2nd-5th graders Serve as primary case manager for students, coordinating IEP development and meetings Collaborate with staff and paraprofessionals for daily support, including dismissal duties Ensure adherence to best practices in special education and student safety Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and productive learning environment
