This position, beginning ASAP and tentatively running through Novemberwith the possibility for extensionoffers the chance to work closely with an inspiring group of 29 students ranging from birth through high school. This role is ideal for a dedicated educator eager to make a difference while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families to support student learning and communication. Youll play a key role in fostering an inclusive, accessible environment for learners of varying ages and abilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

Current certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) Experience working with students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing, ages birthhigh school Proficiency in sign language is highly preferred Commitment to equitable access and ongoing professional development Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction and individualized support to students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing across a spectrum of ages and needs Develop, implement, and adapt curriculum and materials for accessibility and inclusion Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to integrate strategies across learning environments Participate in IEP meetings, prepare progress reports, and track student goals Use sign language and/or assistive technology as appropriate to facilitate learning and communication Create a supportive and encouraging classroom or itinerant teaching atmosphere
