Your primary focus will be fostering growth and promoting independence for students, ensuring they receive tailored support and instruction in both academic and daily life skills. The ideal candidate brings experience with Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) processes and confidently participates in collaborative meetings to develop and monitor IEPs.

Qualifications:

Valid Texas Educator License with EC-6 Special Education Endorsement Demonstrated experience attending and contributing in ARD meetings Strong classroom management and communication skills Dedication to adhering to a professional dress code (no visible tattoos, single hair color, professional attire, limited earrings)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized instruction and adapt curriculum for students in a self-contained classroom Collaborate regularly with fellow educators, therapists, and families to ensure effective team support Maintain and update student records, including progress monitoring and IEP documentation Actively participate in ARD meetings and utilize data-based decision-making Model inclusivity and positivity, creating an encouraging environment for students to thrive
