9664713-78108 Job Description Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary-aged students in an ALE (Adaptive Learning Environment) classroom. This contract role provides the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team, offering specialized education and tailored instruction to a caseload of 13 students. With the assistance of three skilled paraprofessionals, youll play a key part in helping each student achieve their individual potential in a supportive and structured environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

Active Special Education teaching certification Experience or strong interest working within ALE or similar settings Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and best practices for elementary-aged learners Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with paraprofessionals, families, and related service providers Collaborative approach to problem-solving and flexibility to adapt to student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and instructional strategies for an elementary caseload in an ALE classroom Supervise, guide, and support three paraprofessionals to deliver effective student interventions Monitor progress and provide regular updates on student achievement, adjusting instructional approaches as appropriate Maintain compliance with special education laws and ensure thorough documentation Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment to support students academic, emotional, and social growth
