Qualifications and Required Experience:
Active special education teaching license for the state of Virginia. Endorsement in Adaptive Curriculum for ages 3 through 5. Experience working with early childhood special education preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for all students.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement adaptive lesson plans for preschoolers. Provide individualized instruction based on students needs and IEP goals. Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families. Track and measure student progress, maintaining thorough records. Participate in IEP meetings and support services with a multidisciplinary team. Create an engaging, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
