Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a dynamic educational environment. The Lead Teacher will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes early childhood development, literacy, math, and social-emotional skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead curriculum development, implement innovative teaching strategies, and collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to support students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders. The ideal candidate will bring energy, expertise, and a commitment to creating engaging learning experiences that empower children to reach their full potential. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with STREAMn3 curriculum standards, incorporating educational technology and instructional modifications for diverse learners Lead classroom management efforts to create a safe, respectful, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and behavior management for students with special needs Conduct ongoing assessments (VALS, VKPR) of student progress using standardized testing methods and maintain detailed records Communicate regularly with parents and guardians through parent-teacher conferences, progress reports, and digital communication platforms to foster strong partnerships Engage in continuous professional development Experience Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or elementary school teaching roles within private or public school settings Demonstrated expertise in special education practices, including working with students with disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders Experience developing and implementing curriculum modifications for students requiring individualized instruction plans (IEPs) Strong background in behavior management strategies for students with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs Familiarity with teaching methodologies such as Montessori or preschool approaches is a plus Proficiency in using educational technology tools to enhance instruction and student engagement Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, families, and external specialists Join us as a Lead Teacher and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children by fostering their growth through innovative teaching practices, compassionate support, and collaborative teamwork. Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
